52 Racing Motoclub in the spotlight: Lamborghini Aprilia Trophy Champion and Sponga second in Moto3

A memorable weekend at Mugello filled with emotions and outstanding results!

Ferruccio Lamborghini is the new Aprilia RS 660 Trophy Champion (Challenge category)!

A fantastic double victory for Lamborghini, who managed to recover the entire championship gap, missing the overall title by only two points in Race 2.

A spectacular performance, especially in Race 1, with fearless overtakes and bold entries. Seeing him on the podium with our Camillo Bonomi in tears was incredible.

For the second consecutive year, the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy joins the Motoclub’s achievements, following Bianchi in 2024 and Lamborghini in 2025.

It was also a fantastic weekend for Valentino Sponga, the only Italian rider fighting with the Spanish riders for the top positions.

Second in qualifying with a perfect lap in Q2, an unlucky retirement in Race 1 (crash after a high‑side with no consequences), before making a strong comeback in Race 2.

Third place in a thrilling sprint to the finish and second place in the overall standings. Italian Moto3 Vice‑Champion.

Filippo Bianchi also closed the season in SS600 NG with a strong recovery in Q2 and the ninth fastest qualifying time.

P13 in Race 1 and an excellent recovery to P8 at the end of Race 2.

A very positive first season in the category for Pippo, who will aim even higher in 2026.
