FILIPPO BIANCHI CROWNED 2026 ITALIAN SPORTBIKE CHAMPION

A highly successful weekend for the Moto Club 52 Racing Team
riders, competing in Round 5 of the Italian Speed Championship at
Cremona, the Italian AMA Veteran MX Championship and the FMI
Triveneto Trophy.

Filippo Bianchi is the 2026 Italian Sportbike Champion
Filippo Bianchi has been crowned 2026 Italian Sportbike Champion with three races still
remaining.
After taking pole position and winning Race 1 on Saturday, the MMP Velocità rider made no
calculations in Sunday morning’s Sprint Race. He pushed for the victory once again and, with
another win, mathematically secured the championship title.

This result is also a historic milestone for Moto Club 52 Racing Team, which celebrates its first-
ever title in the Italian Speed Championship.

Sunday’s Race 2 ended prematurely for Pippo following a crash while he was leading the race.

The new Italian Champion commented:
“I’m really happy. It has been an incredible journey. I want to thank all the people who stood by me
during the difficult moments of my career because, to be honest, there were times when I thought
about giving everything up.”

The President Giacomo Luminari commented:
“I’m truly emotional about this result, which comes after years of hard works. Filippo truly
deserves it, and I’m proud that we at Motoclub 52 Racing have also contributed to achieving this
