ITALIAN AMA VETERAN MX CHAMPIONSHIP – CREMONA
The Cremona round on September 12–13 brought the Italian AMA Veteran MX Championship to
a close.
Mauro Bortolin, representing Team 52 Racing and riding a Honda CRF250 prepared by Albatross
of Sacile, set the sixth-fastest time in qualifying.
He finished Race 1 in fourth position and Race 2 in fifth.
Mauro therefore concludes the championship in sixth place overall, with the satisfaction of having
given his maximum in a season featuring an increasingly competitive field.
The mixed 450 and 250 class format also represents an additional challenge for riders competing on
the smaller-capacity machine.
