DREAM SEASON FINALE FOR 52 RACING: SAVINO CROWNED
ITALIAN MOTO4 CHAMPION, TESINI CLAIMS THE APRILIA RS660
TROPHY TITLE!

Four championship titles secured in 2026, a spectacular one-two finish
in the final Aprilia RS660 Trophy race, and outstanding performances
from young talents across the Italian Racing Championship.

An unforgettable weekend for 52 Racing, celebrating an exceptional conclusion to
the Italian Racing Championship and Aprilia RS660 Trophy seasons. Two more
championship titles, race victories, podium finishes and impressive performances
crown a remarkable 2026 campaign, one that will hold a special place in the
history of our organisation.

Following the titles already secured by Filippo Bianchi, Italian Sportbike Champion,
and Gabriel Vuono, winner of the Aprilia RS457 Trophy, Edoardo Savino has now
claimed the Moto4 Italian Cup crown, while Gabriel Tesini has been crowned
Aprilia RS660 Trophy Champion.

Four titles that reflect a sporting project built on passion, commitment and a strong
focus on developing young racing talents.

MOTO4 – EDOARDO SAVINO CROWNED ITALIAN CHAMPION

A thrilling season finale for Edoardo Savino, who secured the 2026 Moto4 Italian
Cup title after a championship battle that went down to the very last round.
The young BucciMoto Team rider, representing Moto Club 52 Racing, arrived at
the final event needing to overcome a deficit in the overall standings. He
approached the decisive weekend with remarkable determination and maturity.

Two outstanding race victories allowed him to turn the championship around and
secure the title, completing a season featuring six wins and two runner-up finishes.
This achievement carries special significance for Edoardo. Back in 2022, he had
already been crowned Italian Junior Champion aboard the Ohvale 190 of the Full
Moto 52 Racing Team. Four years later, this new triumph highlights the impressive
technical and sporting development of the young Italian talent.

The title represents another major step towards the international stage, where
Edoardo is already competing successfully. Next weekend, he will return to action
at Misano Adriatico for the final round of the FIM MotoJunior Moto4 European
Cup 17-18 October.

MOTO4 – SEBASTIAN FERRUCCI FINISHES ON A HIGH NOTE

Also competing in Moto4, Sebastian Ferrucci enjoyed a positive weekend with
the SM Corse Team.
After qualifying tenth, Sebastian finished Race 1 in tenth position before making a
significant step forward in the second race.
In Race 2, the young rider showed determination and fighting spirit, staying in
touch with the leading group and securing an excellent sixth-place finish after a
fiercely contested final sprint, just a few tenths of a second away from the podium.
An encouraging performance that brings his Italian Moto4 Championship
campaign to a close in sixth place overall.

During the season, Sebastian also celebrated a fantastic Sprint Race victory at the
opening Misano round, despite having to miss one championship event due to
overlapping international commitments.
His racing season is not over yet, as he will return to Misano next weekend 17-18 October for the
final FIM MotoJunior round.

SPORTBIKE – FILIPPO BIANCHI ENDS HIS CHAMPIONSHIP-WINNING
SEASON WITH ANOTHER VICTORY

Already crowned Italian Sportbike Champion with three races remaining, Filippo
Bianchi showed no signs of slowing down at the final round of the season with Aprilia RS660 Factory.
The MMP Velocità Team rider, representing Moto Club 52 Racing, claimed third
place in Race 1 before returning to the top step of the podium in Race 2.
He completed an extraordinary season with eight victories and three additional
podium finishes.

These impressive figures tell the story of a dominant championship campaign and
establish Filippo as one of the most promising talents of the new generation of
Italian motorcycle racing.

For Pippo, an important chapter of his career now comes to an end as an exciting
new challenge begins. In 2027, he will compete in the World Sportbike
Championship with Kawasaki ProDina Team.

This step onto the world stage is also a source of great satisfaction for Moto Club
52 Racing, which has supported Filippo’s development from the one-make trophy
series through to the Italian championship title and now international competition.
His seat at MMP Velocità Team will be taken by another talented Moto Club 52
Racing rider, Valentino Sponga.

SPORTBIKE – MATTIA VIRONE’S PROMISING ROOKIE SEASON ENDS EARLY

An unfortunate conclusion to the season for Mattia Virone, competing with Team
Extreme, who arrived at the final round still suffering from the effects of an injury
sustained during a training session a few days earlier.
His physical condition affected both qualifying and Race 1, preventing him from
performing at his usual level.

With the difficulties continuing, the decision was made not to participate in Race 2,
bringing his season to an early conclusion.
In his rookie year in the Sportbike category, Mattia nevertheless demonstrated
steady progress and an increasingly strong adaptation to the Honda CBR600RR,
completing the championship in tenth place overall.
The experience gained throughout the season provides a solid foundation for the
future, with the hope of seeing him return fully fit and ready to fight at the front of
the field next year.
Everyone at 52 Racing wishes Mattia a speedy recovery.

MOTO3 – VALENTINO SPONGA FINISHES ITALIAN RUNNER-UP AHEAD OF
SPORTBIKE MOVE

Valentino Sponga concludes the Italian Moto3 Championship in second place
overall, once again confirming his position among the category’s leading riders.
The Moto Club 52 Racing representative, competing with Team Pos Corse, faced
another difficult weekend affected by technical issues which, as at the previous
Cremona round, prevented him from showing his full potential.
Despite these difficulties, Valentino fought hard to secure a valuable fourth-place
finish in Race 2, allowing him to defend second position in the final championship
standings.

This result brings his three-year journey in Moto3 to an end, a period during which
Valentino established himself as a competitive and determined rider, achieving
race victories and numerous podium finishes.

The 2027 season will mark the beginning of a new challenge as he moves into the
Sportbike category with MMP Velocità Team, taking over the seat previously
occupied by Filippo Bianchi.
For Valentino, this will also mark a return to Aprilia machinery, the manufacturer
with which he claimed an Italian championship title back in 2022.
An exciting new chapter and another important development opportunity for one
of Moto Club 52 Racing’s young talents.
