ROSSI FIGHTS THROUGH PAIN IN LATVIA TO SCORE 11 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

Andrea Rossi delivered a remarkable display of determination during the MX2 World
Championship Grand Prix of Latvia.

The REDS Team rider showed promising speed on the demanding Kegums circuit, but his
weekend took a difficult turn during Saturday’s Qualifying Race when he suffered a heavy
crash, resulting in multiple bruises and significant physical pain that put his participation in
Sunday’s races in doubt.
Despite the injuries and discomfort, Rossi chose to line up for both motos, demonstrating
exceptional commitment and resilience. Forced to start from the back of the field, the Italian
rider produced two strong comeback performances, finishing 15th in Race 1 and 16th in Race
2.

Those results earned Rossi 11 valuable World Championship points and further confirmed his
steady progress in one of the most competitive championships in international motocross.
Beyond the points scored, the weekend highlighted Rossi’s determination and fighting spirit,
overcoming adversity to complete both races and secure an important result under extremely
challenging circumstances.
