MXGP Montevarchi

Andrea Rossi returns among the MXGP protagonists (Montevarchi MX2).

Andrea Rossi #420 Team Reds, rider representing Moto Club 52 Racing Team, delivered a determined and
impressive performance at the MXGP of Italy held in Montevarchi.
The Italian rider arrived at the event after a difficult period following the crash sustained
during the MXGP of Latvia, an injury that forced him to stop training completely and miss the
following round of the Italian Prestige Championship in Arco.
Despite the extremely hot conditions and limited preparation time, Andrea arrived in
excellent shape and highly motivated, boosted by the support of many fans present around
the Italian circuit.

He immediately showed strong pace during Saturday’s Qualifying Race, finishing fifteenth
overall and as the second-best Italian rider.
On Sunday Rossi confirmed his competitiveness by finishing fifteenth in Race 1 and sixteenth
in Race 2 against some of the world’s best motocross riders.

These results secured fifteenth overall for the event, making him the third-best Italian rider of
the weekend and further demonstrating his potential at international level.
The points scored at Montevarchi move Rossi up to 63 points in the Italian Prestige MX2
Championship standings, strengthening his position among the top Italian riders in the
category and placing him third among Italian riders, directly behind Ducati Factory rider
Ferruccio Zanchi.
