CIV MUGELLO
52 Racing among the protagonists of the second round of the Italian CIV Championship
The second round of the Italian CIV Championship at Mugello confirmed the competitiveness and growth of the 52 Racing project, once again involved in an intense weekend full of strong results across several national motorcycle racing categories.

PRILIA RS 660 TROPHY
A perfect weekend for Gabriel Tesini and the Team 52 Racing crew, who secured three wins out of three races in this early stage of the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy season.
In Race 1, held in dry conditions, Tesini started from the third position on the grid. Despite two start procedures caused by a red flag interruption, Gabriel immediately took the lead at Turn 1 and maintained control all the way to the chequered flag, building a comfortable gap over Ferruccio Lamborghini.
Race 2 delivered completely different conditions, with a wet track gradually drying throughout the race. Lamborghini appeared to be heading toward victory after opening a significant gap in the closing stages, but rain returned during the final lap and completely changed the situation once again. Tesini brilliantly managed the final moments of the race, taking victory in a dramatic sprint finish ahead of Bosello, while Lamborghini crossed the line in third place.
With three wins in the opening three races of the season, Team 52 Racing confirms itself as one of the main contenders in the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy.
The championship will now enter a long break before returning in July at the prestigious Brno International Circuit.
MOTO CLUB 52 RACING TEAM RIDERS
Alongside Team 52 Racing activities, several riders competing under the Moto Club 52 Racing Team license were also involved across multiple CIV and national motocross categories.
CIV SPORTBIKE
A difficult but still positive weekend for championship leader Filippo “Pippo” Bianchi (MMP Racing Team). After securing pole position, a technical issue forced him to retire from Race 1, while he managed to finish fourth in Race 2.
Mattia Virone (Extreme Racing Team) finished Race 1 in tenth position before suffering a crash in wet conditions during Race 2.

CIV MOTO3
Despite a crash during Friday free practice, Valentino Sponga (POS Corse) secured an excellent third place in Race 1. Wet conditions proved more challenging on Sunday, where he finished fourth in the Superpole Race and sixth in Race 2.

CIV MOTO4
A bittersweet weekend for Edoardo Savino (Bucci Moto Team), who showed strong pace before crashing during the heavy rain at Mugello.
Very positive performances also came from Sebastian Ferrucci (SM Corse), fourth in a close finish during Race 1 while also setting the new lap record. He repeated another strong performance in wet conditions during Race 2, allowing him to move up to second place in the championship standings.

TALIAN VETERAN MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
In the Italian Veteran Motocross Championship, Mauro Bortolin finished sixth overall in the MX2 class. A result that does not fully reflect the speed shown throughout the weekend, compromised by a crash with two laps remaining in Race 2.

NEXT ROUND
Next weekend will mark the opening round of the Aprilia RS 457 Trophy, where the young riders of Team 52 Racing will be back on track at Vallelunga Circuit.
52 Racing would like to thank all sponsors and partners who continue supporting the project both on and off the track.
