52 Racing Team shines at Vallelunga in the Aprilia RS457 Trophy –
MX Italian Prestige championship

Pole position and victory for Gabriel Vuono in the opening round
After competing in last year’s inaugural edition of the Aprilia RS 457 Trophy, Team 52 Racing
lined up for the 2026 season with three very young riders: Jacopo Panero, Gabriel Vuono and
Luca Giovannini.

The 52 Racing project strongly believes in the development of young riders and, together with
Aprilia, aims to create a clear progression path starting from the RS 457 class and continuing
towards the RS 660 category.
The opening round held this weekend at Vallelunga was marked by difficult weather
conditions, with intermittent rain throughout Friday and Saturday. Despite the challenging
conditions, the team and riders immediately showed strong pace and competitiveness.
Gabriel Vuono was the standout performer of the weekend, securing pole position and taking
a dominant solo victory in the race after a flawless performance. Jacopo Panero also
delivered an excellent comeback ride, climbing from ninth on the grid to finish fifth.

Unfortunately, Luca Giovannini, who started from seventh position, was forced to retire due
to a technical issue at the start.

Team 52 Racing will now focus on the next round of the Aprilia RS 457 Trophy, scheduled for
the end of June at Mugello.
