round 6-2026
PRILIA RS660 TROPHY – GABRIEL TESINI CROWNED 2026 CHAMPION AS 52 RACING TEAM
CELEBRATES A SPECTACULAR ONE-TWO FINISH!
A truly extraordinary season finale for 52 Racing Team, securing the Aprilia RS660 Trophy championship with Gabriel
Tesini before celebrating a sensational one-two finish in the final race of the year.
The concluding weekend featured two races, with the championship title still to be decided.
RACE 1 – TESINI SECURES VICTORY AND CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
Saturday delivered one of the most exciting battles of the season.
52 Racing Team rider Gabriel Tesini engaged in a spectacular duel with Ferruccio Lamborghini, winner of the 2025 Trophy
and fellow Moto Club 52 Racing member, competing with the Revo-M2 Team.
Despite less-than-ideal track conditions, the two riders fought an intense battle featuring repeated overtakes, aggressive braking
manoeuvres and constant position changes.

Tesini ultimately emerged victorious, delivering a masterful performance to finish ahead of Lamborghini and mathematically
secure the 2026 Aprilia RS660 Trophy championship with one race to spare.
The team’s other young rider, Nicolò Montenero, also delivered a strong performance, finishing fifth, just a few
tenths away from the battle for the podium.

RACE 2 – A PERFECT ONE-TWO FINISH TO COMPLETE AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON
Sunday’s race unfolded very differently, but proved equally exciting.
As the lights went out, Gabriel Tesini and Nicolò Montenero made lightning-fast starts, immediately setting
a pace that their rivals simply could not match.
The two 52 Racing Team riders quickly opened a gap to the rest of the field, running together at the front and
producing a series of exceptionally fast laps.
They crossed the finish line almost side by side, with Tesini claiming another victory and Montenero taking a
brilliant second place, finishing an astonishing twelve seconds ahead of the third-placed rider.

This remarkable one-two finish provided the perfect conclusion to an outstanding season and represented a
particularly satisfying result for Nicolò, who joined the Trophy after the beginning of the championship due to
age eligibility requirements and rapidly demonstrated exceptional competitiveness.
Race 2 proved more challenging for Ferruccio Lamborghini, who was involved in contact with another competitor
but still managed to finish fifth.
Tesini’s title adds to the championship already secured by Gabriel Vuono in the Aprilia RS457 Trophy, giving
52 Racing Team an impressive double championship success across Aprilia’s two one-make racing series.

Two titles in the same season reflect the dedication of the entire team, the technical work carried out throughout
the year and the confidence placed in the project by its riders.
A fantastic achievement that rewards a season of hard work and further strengthens 52 Racing Team’s position
within the Aprilia Trophy paddock.
