Winning debut in the Aprilia 660 Trophy and strong CIV results

A highly positive weekend for Moto Club 52 Racing Team and Team 52
Racing in the Italian CIV Championship in Misano Adriatico, with strong
performances in Moto3, Moto4 and Sportbike, alongside an impressive
debut in the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy. Trofeo Nord Est FMI focus on Mantova
race.

Aprilia RS 660 Trophy – Winning debut for Gabriel Tesini with 52 Racing Team
The spotlight was on Team 52 Racing’s debut in the Aprilia 660 Trophy with Gabriel Tesini.
Lap after lap, the rider built confidence, securing an outstanding P3 in qualifying.
In the race, Gabriel delivered a thrilling head-to-head battle with Ferruccio Lamborghini
(Revo), ultimately coming out on top and claiming a remarkable win on debut.

Moto3 – Strong comeback performance
Valentino Sponga (#30) qualified in P3. After a difficult Race 1 (P5), he bounced back with
determination, taking victory in Race 2 with a performance full of grit and consistency, with
this result Vale is first in Championship.

Great performance by the Polimi Motorcycle Factory, members of MC 52 Racing Team, who secure their first Moto 3 podium with a third-place finish in race 2.

 

Moto4 – Speed and resilience
Edoardo Savino (#31 – Team Bucci) dominated qualifying with pole position and track record.
Two contacts affected Race 1 and the Superpole Race, but he bounced back in Race 2 with a
strong P2 finish.
Sebastiano Ferrucci (#12 – Team SM Corse) showed steady progress: P6 in qualifying, P7 in
Race 1, then his first CIV Moto4 win in the Superpole Race. He narrowly missed the podium in
Race 2, finishing P4 by just a few thousandths.

Sportbike – Dominance and progress
A perfect weekend for Filippo Bianchi (#7 – Team MMP), who dominated with pole position,
Race 1 win, Race 2 win and fastest lap, establishing himself as the benchmark aboard the
Aprilia RS 660.
Mattia Virone (#19 – Team Extreme) continues improving on the Honda CBR 600, moving
from P12 on the grid to P10 in Race 1 and an excellent P5 in Race 2.

Motocross – Consistency pays off
In motocross, Mauro Bortolin delivered a consistent performance at the Trofeo Nord Est FMI
in Mantova on Veteran MX2 class, finishing P4 overall in both races and strengthening his
second place in the championship standings.
